"It's Time To Talk About Domestic Violence" Day 2008

I heard about this on Thom Hartmann's radio program last week and again today.  He was broadcasting from Liz Claiborne's HQ on radio row for "It's Time to Talk" Day.  The goal is to talk about ways to end violence against women.  Every time I heard it on the radio, it was referred to as the "Violence Against Woman" event, but then someone always clarified that it was to talk about issues related to Violence Against Women.

Clearly, this is a huge issue that is not going away.  It is easy to think that this happens "somewhere else" but it happens in the United States every day, in your state, in your town, in your county, maybe next door.  Find out what you can do from the above website.  We can make a change.
