Zentangles and a Blast from my Past

I worked on this Zentangle last night. I finally found a place that explained them even better than the first one I posted about - they described the drawings as quite a bit smaller...I thought I had to use the whole sheet - no wonder I found the full sized ones tiring. There are so many ideas, right?  Anyway, here are a few photos of my latest ones.  I don't know if this holds any interest for anyone reading - feel free to let me know- but I like posting them because they are yet another way for me to throw down my fear of imperfection. I like doing stuff that I haven't mastered yet - that is new for me.  This is also an opportunity for me to experiment with lighting and my camera and the editing software (mostly used to correct lighting issues).  I like the details better than the whole, I think.

On a completely different note, I was tagged in a photo from my trip to the "Interpreting for the Theatre" Intensive in NYC back in 2005. It was great to see the faces of those folks again. I miss them muchly. So here are two photos of the gang:

I'm going to match names and faces, so I will try to put all the names here eventuall.  I can tell you a few.  Back row, first guy on left is Wing Butler.  Two people down is me. :)  Pam Parham is the last woman in the back row, next to the man on the far right side - Alan Champion and his hand is on the shoulder of the woman in the green sweater, Candace Broeker-Penn.  She is next to the orange and black shirted Raymont Anderson (aka Trixie because he wore a Trix shirt the first day). If you stay in that row and go all the way to the other side, you see Lynette Taylor (one of the instructors) with her hands on the shoulders of Stephanie Feyne. Seated in the front is Kathy Ferejohn in yellow and green.  There are other names I remember, but I don't want to assign to the wrong people, so I will refrain until I can assign them all.

Nice to have proof that I was there. I have a printed photo, but it is hidden somewhere.  I will have to dig it up and frame it. That's kind of it for now. Long day and I am tired. Have to still read my 30 minutes and then, a nap. :)
